Resolution 1: Have breakfast together ‘Jack makes crepes every morning on the terrace. Our daughter Ry likes to join in. It’s a great way to start the family’s day.’
Resolution 2: Keep it simple ‘Simplicity makes life easy. Whitewashed walls mean, if dirty fingerprints appear, I just paint over them. A no-stress solution that leaves Ry free to play as she wishes and frees our time for other things.’
Resolution 3: Stop living by the rules ‘Who says a bed can’t be a bouncy castle? Ry plays all over our home. That’s possible when home is fluid and furniture is versatile – mattresses light enough to carry to the roof so you can sleep under the stars on a hot night, chairs you can bring outside for extra guests.’
Resolution 4: Eat fresh, locally sourced produce ‘Every day a van delivers squid and sardines straight from the sea, and we pick fabulous fruit from the surrounding land. In London, we don’t have a garden or a fish van but the principles of eating healthy local produce travel.’
Resolution 5: Spend time with friends ‘An open home with cosy textiles, relaxed banquette seating and ‘help-yourself’ kitchen storage make friends feel welcome.’
