There's one rule:try new things
Prime and Luise have filled their Berlin flat with things they love: lamps, a wish wall and furniture with stories.

Your environment can help you improve your life I like to be able to see the things that inspire me. My books are placed so you can see the covers, my kitchen has open shelves and I have lights and lamps everywhere.
Tip: Make a wish wall filled with images of things you hope for.
I like having the time to let things grow We let the space dictate what we needed rather than rushing to furnish it. Before, my home was white and minimal – I wanted it to be perfect. I don’t feel that pressure anymore.
I love how the city can see into our home I love that Berlin is a big melting pot of ideas. By having no curtains I invite those possibilities inside.
More ideas
No space to clutter up ‘We’ve used garden tables as benches in the kitchen so we can store more underneath them. The things we need but don’t need everyday, like spare plates and cups for parties, we keep tidied away. Most buildings in Berlin have cellars, but ours doesn’t. It’s actually better for us because we would only fill it with things we don’t need.’
Floorplan
‘Our apartment is only 54m², but it feels much bigger because the floorplan uses the whole room, not just the edges. In a small space it pays to be brave – why not put a sofa in the centre of a room?’
